Principle of motor drive

Motor (commonly known as "motor") refers to a kind of electromagnetic device that realizes the conversion or transmission of electric energy according to the law of electromagnetic induction. Its main function is to generate driving torque, as a power source for electrical appliances or various machinery. A coil is placed in a magnetic field, and through the flowing current, the coil will be repounded by the magnetic pole on one side and attracted by the magnetic pole on the other side, constantly rotating under this effect. In the process of rotation, the current leading to the coil is reversed, so that it continues to rotate. This is how the most basic motor works. BLDC motor BLDC motor "BL" that is "Brushless", translated as brushless. That is, the "brush" in the DC motor is gone. The role of the brush in the DC motor is to pass electricity through the commutator to the coil in the rotor. So how does a BLDC motor without a brush electrize the coil in the rotor? BLDC motor uses permanent magnet to make the rotor, there is no coil in the rotor. Since there is no coil in the rotor, there is no need for commutators and brushes for power supply. Instead, a coil is used as a stator. The BLDC motor controls the rotor rotation by controlling the direction and magnitude of the current leading to the coil. Advantages of BLDC motors and the first advantage of applying BLDC motors is "high efficiency". It can keep the gyroscopic force (torque) at the maximum value at all times. The maximum torque of the DC motor can only be maintained for an instant during the rotation process, and it cannot always maintain the maximum value. If the DC motor wants to get the same torque as the BLDC motor, it can only increase its magnet. This is the reason why small BLDC motors can also emit powerful forces. The second trait, related to the first, is "good control." The BLDC motor can accurately feedback the target rotation number, torque, etc. The heating and power consumption of the motor can be restrained by precise control. If it is battery-powered, it can extend the driving time through careful control. The above two points are the advantages brought by the brushless and commutator. In addition, BDLC has the characteristics of durability and low electrical noise. If you do not want to use the process of noise, the use of BLDC motor can be achieved.
